Identification: Hirama Age: Unknown Occupation: Gravedigger Place of Interest: Graveyard, sitting in a willow tree. Hits: Nightfall, orchestra, books, tomato juice, kee kees (kitties). Pits: Television, loud music, crowded places, persistent friendly people.
A dark depressing wallflower, Hirama is very socially inept and doesn't come off as very trusting of others. She is often very frank, uninterested, and seemingly paranoid. She won't even allow any barber to touch her hair, and so she cuts it herself.
Hirama has a rather reverie demeanor and walks in a very dreamy mannerism. Even as you see her now, she looks like she's about to fall over.

This marks my first completed piece using value shading in Photoshop that I have posted on dA. There are many things I still need to work on. But I can only get better as long as I don't idle about. Hirama appears very tall and thin in here, but I think she looks just fine that way. I have decided to change her occupation to that of a gravedigger. Don't worry, there's more to this 'gravedigger' than you think.
I like the design of this character! I was about to tell she looks off balance, then I read the comment... That's an impressive shovel!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
